We aim to make our terms and conditions for flower delivery policy easy to understand, from refunds to flower substitutions, alcohol delivery, and customer service throughout Melbourne.
Terms and Conditions for Flower Delivery
Blossom Lane does not enforce a minimum spend. For orders outside the price ranges listed online, please call us on 0455 266 216.
All prices are in AUD and include GST (10%).
Cancellations & Order Changes
Cancellations: Orders may be cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice before the delivery date. A $20 admin fee applies to cancellations.
Date Changes: You may reschedule an order at no charge with 24+ hours’ notice. Late change requests may incur a fee.
Orders in Transit: Orders already prepared or dispatched cannot be cancelled or refunded. Redirection may be possible in some cases; fees apply.
Flower Availability & Substitutions
At Blossom Lane, we always aim to replicate your selected floral design. However, as flowers are seasonal and availability varies, our florists will substitute with the best available in-season blooms. This ensures the same style, colour palette, and value are maintained.
We recommend choosing from our Florist’s Choice or Gift Hamper ranges for best seasonal results.
Flowers: Substitutions may be made without notice if specific varieties are unavailable.
Vessels: Container types may change to suit availability and brand presentation.
Hampers: If substitution is needed, we will attempt to contact you beforehand.
Flower Care
It is the recipient’s responsibility to follow all flower care instructions provided. Proper care is essential for longevity and freshness.
Returns & Refunds
Blossom Lane follows Australian Consumer Law. Learn more about your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Flowers are perishable and natural products. Some variation from product images is to be expected due to market availability and seasonal changes.
To request a refund or replacement:
- Notify us within 2 days of receiving your order
- Requests based on change of mind or design preference are not accepted
- If flowers perish within 3 days (and care instructions were followed), or if incorrect items were delivered, we may offer a replacement or gift voucher
We may request photographs of the original order for review. No refunds will be issued if goods are discarded or images are not provided. See our Refund & Returns Policy for more detailed information.
Our Terms and Conditions for Flower Delivery Services with Alcohol
Under Victorian liquor law:
- Alcohol must be delivered with flowers, plants, or gifts
- Alcohol cannot be left unattended
- A recipient aged 18+ must be present to receive the order
If no eligible person is available at delivery, redelivery fees will apply.
Delivery Accuracy
Please ensure all delivery information is accurate, including:
- Recipient name
- Full address
- Contact number
- Access instructions (if needed)
Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays or redelivery charges.
Reception & Unattended Deliveries
Deliveries to third-party locations (reception desks, concierge, etc.) are considered completed once handed over. Blossom Lane is not responsible for loss or delay after that point.
If permission is granted to leave items unattended and the recipient does not return promptly, Blossom Lane is not liable for damaged or lost goods.
Disclosure of Customer Information
We may disclose customer information when:
- Required by law
- Enforcing our terms
- Protecting the rights, property, or safety of our team, customers, or others
Legal Liability
Under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), Blossom Lane’s liability is limited to:
- Resupplying the goods or services
- Replacing the goods
- Paying the cost of having the goods or services supplied again
Age Restriction
You must be 18 years or older to order alcohol through Blossom Lane.
